The AAP leadership is just not going to give up insisting that it is a very, very good thing to inject mercury into infants and children. Here is what all the fuss is about (for today at least): Pichichero claims his study of about 200 babies and children, who were injected with vaccines containing ethyl mercury (thimerosal), showed that measurable mercury levels in the blood of the children were gone within 3.7 days. This, says Pichichero, is much quicker than the average 44 days it takes for methyl mercury (found in fish) to be undetectable in the blood. Ergo, he says, exposure to thimerosal does not cause brain damage or autism!

Not so fast, says Thomsas Brubacher, M.D., a scientist who studies the biological effects of ethyl mercury on primates. "Just because it came out of the blood doesn't mean it is excreted from the body. It could have gone to the brain. Now, whether you think that all or part of the autism epidemic has been caused by children getting too many mercury containing vaccines or whether you think that a subset of children suffering with autism have been affected by mercury containing vaccines or you believe mercury containing vaccines do not play any role at all in the autism epidemic:

MERCURY IN ANY FORM DOES NOT BELONG IN VACCINES OR ANY OTHER PRODUCT CONSUMED BY HUMANS.

News Flash for the AAP and pediatricians everywhere: there is no mother on this planet who would, willingly, ask you to inject her baby with mercury. It does not matter if ethyl mercury has been "proven" or "not proven" to be the cause of the autism epidemic. It is simple from a parent's perspective:

WHEN IN DOUBT, TAKE IT OUT.

The AAP leadership and doctors inside and outside of government, who have become apologists for unsafe vaccines and one-size-fits-all vaccine policies, are dancing like clowns as they threaten freedom of the press and attempt to cover-up vaccine injuries and deaths not only potentially caused by thimerosal - but also potentially caused by many other biological mechanisms involved in vaccine induced brain and immune system dysfunction, including autism. The dance would be almost comical if their stubborn defense of mercury in vaccines did not reveal so much more about a cavalier disregard for scientific truth and human life.

"Thimerosal has been used for decades, but the surge in vaccinations caused fear that possible accumulations of ethyl mercury, the kind in thimerosal, might exceed safe levels -- at least, when based on the stringent risk guidelines applied to its better- understood chemical cousin, methyl mercury, which is associated with eating fish," lead researcher Dr. Michael Pichichero, professor of microbiology/immunology, pediatrics and medicine at the University of Rochester, said in a prepared statement. "One of the unanswered questions when this first popped up as a controversy was, when you got thimerosal as an injection, how long would it stay in your blood," co-author Dr. John Treanor, a professor of medicine at the University of Rochester Medical Center, said in an interview. The new research, he added, showed that "the levels of thimerosal don't go very high and they go down right away. By the time it's time for the next dose of vaccine, the levels are right back to where they were at the beginning." For their study, Pichichero's team tracked 216 infants from R. Gutierrez Children's Hospital in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where thimerosal is still routinely used in vaccines. Use of thimerosal in childhood vaccines was discontinued in the United States after a joint decision in 1999 by U.S. health officials, pediatricians and vaccine manufacturers. The infants in the study were put into three age groups and their blood-mercury levels were tested both before and after vaccinations were given to newborns, and at their two- and six-month checkups. Pichichero's group found that for all three age groups, the half-life of ethyl mercury in the blood -- the time it takes for the body to get rid of half the mercury, and then another half, and so on -- was 3.7 days. That's significantly less than the half-life of methyl mercury, the kind found in fish, at 44 days. "Until recently, that longer half-life was assumed to be the rule for both types of mercury. Now it's obvious that ethyl mercury's short half-life prevents toxic build-up from occurring. It's just gone too fast," Pichichero said. "If you thought thimerosal was responsible for autism, you would be looking at mercury levels that were far below anything anyone's previously thought as being toxic," Treanor added. 1. The absolute number of antibodies does not confer immunity; you could have a very high titre to a particular pathogen and still get the disease, or conversely, you can have no measurable antibodies and be immune. Memory cells, not levels of antibodies, mediate the immunity conferred by natural exposure/infection. Synthetic vaccinations are deemed to be "effective" based on antibody titres - that’s why vaccination is such a dangerous con and why vaccinated individuals still get those diseases.
As with so many areas of ‘modern medicine’ this is another theory designed around a profitable ‘treatment’, rather than honest, sound science.

2. Thank you for this link. I wish the information was available 22 years ago when vaccines were forced on us, without adequate warning of the risks and deception.
My firstborn son has been autistic since the DPT vaccination. It's tragic to wonder how his life would have been different without that tragic turn.

Mercury levels in brains of those autopsied w/autism had 68.2% higher mercury levels. Though, it's a correlation the study says.
My child started having seizures after her 15 month MMR. Genetics are certainly involved, but the vaccines seemed to be the rug pulled out from under her.
They'd rather be politically correct than to at least ask questions. I don't care if they found mercury was not the cause of ASD, but you never shut the book on questions. That is not a true scientist.

When my firstborn was an infant, I switched from a pediatrician to a family practictioner because I was tired of being berated and lectured for my belief that vaccines are worse for you than the disease. 9. Researchers this week identified two separate genetic defects linked to autism, one that directly causes the disorder in about 1% of cases and a second that may play a role in a much larger percentage of patients by increasing their susceptibility to environmental or other genetic influences.
1% is a genetically direct cause. The other genetic defect is INFLUENCIAL, either increasing their susceptibility to environmental (i.e., mercury) or other genetic influences. I saw no indication that it's "for the most part genetic". Perhaps you can provide us a link and a quote that claims this?

10. Also please look at what happens in the body after a vaccine is administered. Because the vaccines do not get filtered by the gut and then the liver they can wreck havoc all over the body (free floating formaldehyde, aluminium, etc).
The body's response causes a drastic lowering of vitamins, especially A. Another problem is when the sulfur-based detox pathway in the liver is compromised and mercury, aluminum, etc cannot be filtered out once they finally reach the liver.
There are a few doctors in America who have had success with treatments such as IV Vitamin A therapy.
Our children are exposed to so many toxins nowadays that vaccines typically are the straw that breaks the camel's back.


11. You probably never had a child of yours go from normal at 15 months to terrible regression after receiving the MMR. My son has ASD, and lost some of his hearing. ASD is NOT hereditary. I could go into all the details of watching him slip away after the MMR vaccine, but suffice it to say we finally found a good DAN doctor to treat him. He will recover, but I will never believe thimersol had nothing to do with his disorder. I fully believe there is an agenda to poison as many children with mercury laden vaccines as possible. This will create a generation of controllable slaves for the new world order. If that sounds too hard to believe, go check it out for yourself. U.S. Doctors Club ABC-TV Show on Autism & Vaccines

I sighed with recognition when I learned that the leadership of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) had written a letter and issued a press release on Jan. 25 calling on ABC-TV to cancel tomorrow's premiere episode of a fictional drama about a family whose child regresses into autism after vaccination. On the same day, the American Medical Association (AMA) called on ABC to "mitigate the harm this episode may do" such as re-writing the script.

The CDC-funded Immunization Action Coalition (IAC) also piled on ABC-TV, urging doctors to put pressure on the network to cancel the broadcast while seven former directors of the CDC maintained in a Jan. 29 March of Dimes press release that "The implication that vaccinations cause autism is irresponsible and counter productive."

This latest coordinated attempt by physician leaders of America's medical establishment to muzzle the media's exploration of vaccine risk issues that have been making headlines for nearly three decades is reminiscent of the coordinated denials of vaccine risks by these same physician leaders in April 1982 when NBC-TV broadcast the documentary "DPT: Vaccine Roulette." It was a landmark documentary which earned television journalist Lea Thompson an Emmy and initiated a public dialogue that would change the course of medical history.

In 1982, when the NBC-TV documentary exposed the dangers of DPT vaccine, physician leaders in the AAP, AMA, CDC and other medical organizations joined together to discredit Thompson and everyone associated with the broadcast. An article in the July 1982 Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) labeled the NBC-TV documentary "biased, histrionic and inaccurate" and even "amoral and psychopathic."

William Foege, M.D., then director of the CDC and one of the seven former CDC directors who endorsed the March of Dimes press release now criticizing ABC-TV for airing a fictional episode about vaccines and autism, in 1982 declared that the NBC- TV report about DPT vaccine risks was "an unbalanced view - bias, in my view, and inaccuracies to carry its destructive message.....not an example of responsible journalism."

In 1983, a year after the documentary aired, reporter Thompson explained "The AAP put out the word the day we did our story that the story was inaccurate and not to worry. When a reporter calls a local doctor or hospital or medical center, he speaks to doctors who have been told by the AAP and AMA not to worry. To my knowledge, pediatricians in this country have heard absolutely nothing from the AAP on DPT since then." (quoted in DPT: A Shot in the Dark)

Three years later, the U.S. Congress would acknowledge the reality of DPT and other vaccine brain injury and death by passing the National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act of 1986. This societal acknowledgement was followed by the publishing, in 1991 and 1994, of four reports by the Institute of Medicine that DPT vaccine can cause brain inflammation and permanent brain damage and that other childhood vaccines can cause varying degrees of brain and immune system dysfunction, as well as death. In 1996, after parents of vaccine injured children had lobbied industry and government for 14 years, the FDA licensed a purified DTaP vaccine for babies.

To the credit of the owners and management of ABC-TV, the network has so far refused to cancel the premiere episode of Eli Stone that features a family struggling with issues familiar to parents whose children regress into autism after vaccination. Since 1982, Americans have depended on members of the Fourth Estate to illuminate for the public the scientific, medical, economic, political, social and ethical issues involved in the vaccine safety and informed consent debate. Hopefully, ABC-TV and all print and broadcast media outlets will hold the line against this latest threat to freedom of thought and expression by a medical community determined to silence people crying out for recognition and help for their vaccine injured children.

Parents deserve more from the pediatricians and doctors, who they entrust with their children's lives, than denials, hostility and disrespect. They deserve to have their questions about vaccination answered honestly; their concerns about vaccine risks taken seriously; and their children treated with the same compassion that doctors would treat their own children. They expect that, when their children regress after vaccination into poor health, pediatricians will leave no stone unturned, including exploring the possibility that vaccine(s) played a role in their child's development of autism, learning disabilities, ADD/ADHD, epilepsy, asthma, diabetes, arthritis, intestinal bowel disorders and many other kinds of brain and immune system dysfunction.

Mothers and fathers expect that - whether or not mercury preservatives in vaccines have or have not been "proven" to be the cause of the autism epidemic - that pediatricians and all doctors would instinctively adhere to the "First do no harm" precautionary principle and support the immediate removal of a known neurotoxin from vaccines they inject into babies. Parents do not expect doctors to collectively stick their heads in the sand and turn away from their responsibility to find out why the biggest epidemic of chronic disease and disability among children in the history of our nation is associated with the more than doubling of the numbers of vaccines doctors give to them in the first few years of life.

In 1983, when pediatrician leaders of the AAP Redbook Committee met with co-founders of the National Vaccine Information Center to discuss DPT vaccine brain injuries, I begged them to take seriously the reports by parents that their children were regressing physically, mentally and emotionally after vaccination so that steps could be taken to minimize the risks. I warned them that "a system that will not bend will break."

In 2008, after 26 years of waiting for pediatricians to open their eyes and realize that leaders in the AAP, AMA, and CDC have betrayed their trust by denying the truth about vaccine risks, parents are taking matters into their own hands. If the mass vaccination system breaks, the blame can be put squarely at the feet of doctors who have waited too long to stand up and say "The lie stops here and now with me."

Bird Flu Hoax

Last year, the number of human cases of avian flu dropped rather than rose for the first time -- from a paltry 115 in 2006 to an even more insignificant 86 in 2007. Frightening headlines warning of a pandemic that could kill 150 million people have all but vanished.

Although some “experts” still argue that preparations against bird flu must continue, many are finally beginning to realize what I said all along -- that this overhyped, oversold “pandemic” was never a threat in the first place. According to Dr. Paul A. Offit, a vaccine specialist at Children’s Hospital in Philadelphia, “H5 viruses have been around for 100 years and never caused a pandemic and probably never will.”

Still, according to this New York Times article, scientists and governments are congratulating themselves for averting a threat that never was by stockpiling worthless vaccines, pointlessly culling hundreds of millions of birds, and pouring money into preparation efforts. I can only imagine that the flu vaccine manufacturers are laughing all the way to the bank.

Great book on the untold Truth

I love ths book because the author started out as a concerned parent about to have kids. So he went out to do research to find out what would be best for his kids regarding vaccines. The conlclusions he came up with now make him one of the biggest proponents against vaccines. He is not anit-medicine, or anti drugs (like me). He is a parent who wanted the best for his kids.

He shows you facts like most vaccines contain, mercury, formaldahyde and aluminum just to name a few. These chemicals and toxins are in there for the sole purpose of making the vaccine shelf life longer so not as much of the drug companies profits are eaten up by "spoiled" vaccines.

This book shows anyone who is willing to look at the facts (he sites all the articles, journals and exact location to find the hundreds of references he uses) how vaccines are causing more damage than good.

Many people think vaccines got rid of polio, measles and all the other diseases we have vaccines for. Using the National Institues of Health data the author shows you how this probably is not the case.

If you graph the number of people who had a disease against time you would get a bell curve graph for all diseases we have vaccines for. The interesting part of this graph is the date the vaccines were introduced for those diseases. One would think they were introduced near the top of the bell curve.

When in fact ALL of the vaccines were introduced at least half way down the bell curve, and most when the disease was almost gone by itself. By the time the vaccines were gone, the disease had already run it's course. The interesting part is also that past disease like most plagues that never had vaccines invented, has the exact same graph as those that have vaccines.

The list goes on and on and the author will help show you how if you truly want your kid to be healthy, vaccines will not do that. In fact, exactly the opposite will happen.

You might be thinking, but my kid won't be able to go to school. Or I cannot travel abroad. Yes you can. There are ways to easily have your kid go to school and travel with out being vaccinated. Most people just do not tell you about them.

If you want to know for youself and feel confident in your decision Not to vaccinate your kid this book will help.

This book is solid-packed scientific facts!

Vierra Scheibner's book is the most scholarly and scientific work supporting the viewpoint that vaccination is not healthy or safe. I have read many books on this subject, and I consider her book to be the best for those who wish to support their views from documented scientific literature. This book is a collection of her exhaustive review of medical literature on the subject and is fully referenced. It also contains information from her doctoral work (she has a Ph.D. in medicine) on SIDS that swayed her personally against vaccination.

An excellent summary of research on vaccination.

As a research scientist with 30 years of medical research behind me, including 10 years in biotechnology and vaccine development, I had never questioned the basic assumptions regarding vaccination. Scheiber's book on vaccine research has completely changed my views on the safety and efficacy of vaccination. She cites study after study, such as the 1950's studies with polio vaccine which involved nearly 2 million children, which conclusively showed at the time that the utility of polio vaccination is zero. Well, I thought as I read on, at least the smallpox vaccine wiped out smallpox. Wrong! It was also exhaustively compared with non-vaccination and found to have no benefit. In fact, the vaccine has no effect on smallpox infection except to predispose the vaccinee to infection. I had no idea. I am still in a state of shock. Hasn't anyone at the Centers for Disease Control looked at the data? Why such a practice is still continued in the face of all this evidence is beyond my comprehension

Government Vaccines -- Bad Policy, Bad Medicine

A controversy over vaccines, specifically the smallpox vaccine, is brewing in Washington. The administration is considering ordering mass inoculations for more than one million military personnel and civilian medical workers, ostensibly to thwart a smallpox outbreak before it occurs. Yet dangerous side effects from the vaccine -- ranging from mild flu symptoms to gangrene, encephalitis, and even death -- cause many to question the wisdom and need for such inoculations.

As a medical doctor, I believe mandated smallpox vaccines are bad medicine. The available vaccine poses significant risks, even though the more serious complications affect only a statistically small number of people.

As with any medical treatment, these risks must always be balanced against the perceived benefit. Remember, not a single case of smallpox has been reported, despite the near hysteria that characterized recent news reports. Even if some individuals became infected, smallpox spreads only with very close contact. Those in the surrounding community could then decide to accept vaccines based on a much more tangible risk.

As a legislator, I believe mandated smallpox vaccines are very bad policy. The point is not that smallpox vaccines are necessarily a bad idea, but rather that intimate, personal medical decisions should not be made by government. The real issue is individual medical choice. No single person, including the president of the United States, should ever be given the power to make a medical decision for potentially millions of Americans.

Freedom over one's physical person is the most basic freedom of all, and people in a free society should be sovereign over their own bodies. When we give government the power to make medical decisions for us, we in essence accept that the state owns our bodies.

The possibility that the federal government could order vaccines is real. Provisions buried in the 500-page homeland security bill give federal health bureaucrats virtually unchecked power to declare health emergencies.

Specifically, it gives the secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) -- in my view one of the worst of all federal agencies -- power to declare actual or potential bioterrorist emergencies; to administer forced "countermeasures," including vaccines, to individuals or whole groups; and to extend the emergency declaration indefinitely.

These provisions mirror those found in the Model Emergency Health Powers Act, a troubling proposal that was rejected by most state legislatures last year. That Act would have given state governors broad powers to suspend civil liberties and declare health emergencies. Yet now we're giving virtually the same power to the secretary of HHS. Equally troubling is the immunity from civil suit granted to vaccine manufacturers in the homeland security bill, which potentially could leave individuals who get sick from a bad batch of vaccines without legal recourse.

Politics and medicine don't mix. It is simply not the business of government at any level to decide whether you choose to accept a smallpox vaccine or any other medical treatment. Yet decades of federal intervention in health care, including the impact of third-party HMOs created by federal legislation, have weakened the doctor-patient relationship.

A free market system would allow doctors and patients to make their own decisions about smallpox inoculations, without the federal government hoarding, mandating, nor prohibiting the vaccine. Instead, we're moving quickly toward the day when government controls not only what vaccines patients receive, but what kind of health care they receive at all.

Action on Virginia GARDASIL "Opt-Out" Mandate

Virginia Delegate Bob Marshall has introduced a bill in the Virginia state legislature which would repeal a law passed by the General Assembly last year requiring sixth grade girls to get three doses of HPV vaccine (HB 89) by October 2008. Governor Kane has indicated he will not support a repeal of the mandate. Delegate Marshall has also authored a bill to delay the HPV vaccine mandate implementation until 2011 (HB 188).

The health subcommittee of the Virginia House Health, Welfare and Institutions Committee will hear HB 89 and HB 188 this afternoon (Monday, Jan. 14). It is a possibility that the full Committee might hear the bills at a later date if they are not passed out of subcommittee.

Virginia Governor Tim Kane signed the HPV vaccine mandate into law last year after it was revised to include an "opt-out" provision that did not require parents to claim medical or religious reasons for the "opt-out." Merck's GARDASIL vaccine is the only HPV vaccine on the market and Merck lobbied aggressively in Texas, California, New York and more than 20 states in early 2007 to push through HPV vaccine mandates. Texas Governor Rick Perry (R) issued an Executive Order in early 2007 to try to force GARDASIL to be given to sixth graders in Texas but the Texas legislature rebelled and later passed legislation over- riding the Executive Order.

Virginia and New Jersey were the only two states to vote for an HPV vaccine mandate for pre-adolescent girls and both states modified the mandate to include an "opt-out" provision.

Merck's GARDASIL has been associated with collapse episodes, seizures, Guillain Barre syndrome and other serious health problems among young girls and women since the vaccine was licensed in mid-2006. During 2007, the National Vaccine Information Center published three analyses of GARDASIL adverse events being reported to VAERS, which indicated that GARDASIL is far more reactive than methodologically flawed pre- licensure clinical trials revealed.

A quick review of GARDASIL adverse health outcomes, which Virginia girls and young women aged 5 to 26 suffered and were reported to VAERS, revealed reports of loss of consciousness, seizures/convulsions, head injuries and fractures, joint swelling, blood disorders (ITP), abnormal cervical smears, spontaneous abortions, and medical errors (5 year old given wrong vaccine). The VAERS reports also included events labeled as life threatening or causing disability.

The NVIC staff continues to receive reports from parents of young girls, as well as young adult women, living in many different states that indicate GARDASIL is causing atypical fainting/sudden collapse within several hours of vaccination, as well as other neurological events. Many of these health problems following GARDASIL are being written off as "coincidental" by nurses and physicians without any evidence the health problem would have occurred if the vaccine had not been administered.
